In 1986, he joined OUTRAGE and released one self-produced album before moving to a major label. After releasing seven albums, he left the band in 1999. In 2007, he participated in OUTRAGE's 20th anniversary live concert, and since then, he has released four albums and one concept album through Victor Entertainment and Universal Music Japan. He also contributed to the soundtrack of the fighting game GUILTY GEAR. His involvement started in 2013 with the release of a song for the Pachislot/GUILTY GEAR game, and he continues to contribute to many tracks in the GUILTY GEAR Xrd and GUILTY GEAR STRIVE series. In addition to his band work, he is active in his solo career, including projects like Life Of Vibrant Energy, nao/ken, and collaborations with overseas musicians. Currently, he is active with GERARD, Sound Horizon/Linked Horizon, Sakura Mori, Fuki Commune, ULTIMA GRACE, Yui Sakakibara, Daisy×Daisy, and others, participating in live performances, recordings, and sessions. He also serves as an instructor at ESP Music Academy. Additionally, he has contributed to numerous live performances and music recordings for GUILTY GEAR and BLAZBLUE.

He has since performed with a wide range of artists across various genres, including JAM Project, BABYMETAL, Koji Kikkawa, Otokogumi, B'z, ORANGE RANGE, and others, focusing on rock, anime songs, and voice actor artists. He has participated in live performances and recordings in these diverse styles. He is also active with his own band, Rockon Social Club.
